Round 15 2019 Report

Under 8’s: Great effort in the last game- a tough match, but the girls worked hard in defence and attack. Two players of the week to finish off the year, Lily and Eve - for a determined effort in the mid-court. Already looking forward to next year.

Under 21’s: A difficult but fun last game against a top 2 team. Well done to Kat who played 3/4 of a game while very unwell! I am so proud to be the coach of this wonderful team, to watch them grow over the last few years (and for some of them, since they were 10-11) has been a privilege. Great season ladies ❤️

B1’s: We finished the season with a scrappy win 41-31 against Glenwood that secured our place in the semis next week. We even managed to celebrate crazy hair day with our OLOL scrunchies. Thanks to our family and friends who came out to see the end of the regular season and all those who watched/supported/kept score and umpired for us 💛

C1’s: We had our last game today for the season and even though it wasn’t a win we still gave it everything we got. During this season we have had our ups and downs but I can’t be proud enough of how far we have come together as a team. I was new to the team and it was honestly a great season meeting new girls and just being able to enjoy myself with these lovely ladies. Great game today girls and for the rest of the season. Bring on next year I say! 😀
