Round 14 2019 Report

Under 8’s: what a great game from our under 8’s! It was so exciting to come after the majority of the season to see how much they’ve improved. Well done to Kiara, player of the match who had lots of intercepts and great defence! Congrats Kiara!

Under 21’s: Tough game against St Bernadette’s, our defence was strong and feeding into the circle was smooth demonstrating our experience of playing together. Unfortunately we didn’t come out with a win but our quarters had some great plays

B1’s: We had a tough game today that ended in a loss 42-39 against 2nd place in our division. I could not be prouder of how the girls played and how close we came to this team! Shout out to jayde for her commitment to the team and being an incredible goal keeper and also an incredible dance mum all in one day 😂😘

C1’s: Another tough game this week - thankfully a much more pleasant game against this team.. no injured fingers and scratched up arms so we’ll call that a success! 💪🏼 with injuries, sickness and a variety of other issues, we’ve had a difficult season but I am so proud of how well we’ve come together this year. Thanks to Sophie and Angelina for filling in for us!!

C2’s: Once again coming through with a big loss and having no reserves for our unfit players. However with every loss you discover something magnificent. Dominique Pigott will now be our permanent shooter and Shauna Naaman our permanent centre. But however, Doms height lost us the game. GOOOO OLLIES
