Round 8 2019 Report
Under 8’s: Player of the match was Elizabeth! It’s her first year playing and she has really improved, making some intercepts and is always committed to getting the ball. Girls are playing well and improving each week.

Under 21’s: Unfortunately a loss for the 21D’s today. Letting the cold weather get the best of us, our game play was not up to standard. Our opposition came out strong however we kept our ground making a late come back in the last quarter. Special mention to Talon and Ellen for there amazing defence that rattled with the opposing shooters. Although we came away will a loss, we definitely won the last quarter!!!
B1’s: We had a great win to wrap up the first half of the comp and should help to keep us in the top 4 moving into the second half of the season! We missed Jess and Yas today but managed to cover the centre court with no rests (Very happy this wasn’t one of the first games of the season). Defenders and shooters had a blinder today and will help to get our for/against back on track!

C1’s: A WIN!! All of our hard work has finally paid off!! After a good start, we drew at 1/4 time, then had a shaky 2nd quarter, but pulled ahead in the last half to win by 2. Super proud of everyone this week, and thanks to Georgia from the C2’s and Meagan from the 21s for filling in. Much appreciated!
C2’s: An unfortunate loss for the girls today with only 6 players taking the court. Fortunately for us though, those 6 players have shown the most commitment and heart this year. Huge shoutout to the worlds smallest GK Dominique Pigott for somehow literally just standing on the goal circle and pulling intercepts left, right and centre. Still blows me away how the smallest player probably at Kellyville courts could do so well.
