Round 5 2019 Report

Under 8’s: The girls played well, and are getting better at moving the ball down the court and breaking for passes. Lots of intercepts and passing around the circle. Player of the match: Kiara

Under 21’s: A tough loss for the girls. With some sickness and injury to battle, as well as playing the last years undefeated premiers, we knew it would be hard. Some good pressure built back up in the 3rd quarter. We’ll get them next time 💪🏼

B1’s: We had another great win 50-39! It’s great to see the team working together a little better every week. A stand out player couldn’t be picked because everyone was outstanding in their position. We are slowly but surely ladder climbing!

C1’s: A difficult game with all 3 of our defence out this week, but thank you to Ellen and Talon from the 21s for filling in straight after their exhausting game. With a completely new team, it was always going to take a while to find our feet, and while it didn’t happen during this game, we are slowly getting there.

C2’s: We had another unfortunate loss this week. We had some great moments in defence and attack but couldn't come home with a win. Hopefully next week we can report a win.
